Uxbridge Shoes & Shoe Repair opened for business in Uxbridge in 1975 at 7 Brock St. West. It was located there for four years, then relocated to its current location. In 1993, the reins changed hands from parents to children. John took over the shoe sales, and Dave took over the shoe repair. The major lines that showed up very quickly in the shoe store were Birkenstock, Rockport, and Dr. Martens. Birkenstock and Rockport are still two major brands in the store, and John followed that up with numerous other quality brands.

What We Do
Only quality brands are sold at Uxbridge Shoes. However, as good as a shoe is, if it’s not fitted properly, the best shoe in the world may as well be the worst! Each pair of feet that wander into Uxbridge Shoes will be properly measured to ensure a proper fit. For customers with problem feet (bunions, plantar fasciitis, etc.) a gait analysis will be done to determine what the best shoe is to correct the problem. For customers seeking running or walking shoes, we will find the best kind of shoe for your needs. We even have over-sizes available (up to Men’s size 15 and Women’s size 11), and if we don’t have it, we are more than happy to order it. We also carry widths for the hard-to-fit foot.
